ORDERING
PLACING AN ORDER
Once you have made a purchase from MMW, we will be entering into an informal contract with you. Your credit or debit card will be charged on placing an order. All goods are handmade ‘to order’ by MMW and can take between 2-6 weeks for despatch depending on which product is ordered. From time to time there may be a slightly longer wait than normal. I recommend that you contact MMW prior to ordering to get an estimated despatch date.
Once an order has been placed you will receive a confirmatory e-mail with your unique order reference number, your order details and the amount to be charged to your card. You must check that the details on this confirmatory e-mail are all correct and notify MMW immediately of any changes. Please save it or print it out and keep in a safe place.
In exceptional circumstances should I not be able to fulfil an order that I have accepted, I will refund your credit/debit card with the full price that was paid.
MMW reserves the right to cancel an order at anytime.
GENERAL
You agree that e-mail can be used as a long-distance means of communication.The confirmatory e-mail will also contain a link to these terms of use.
SECURE ONLINE ORDERING
The ‘Site’ uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), technology meaning your personal and card details are fully protected. Payments are processed using Stripe and you know you are in a secure environment by the 'padlock' symbol.
You undertake that all details you provide to MMW for the purpose of ordering or purchasing goods are correct, that the credit or debit card you are using is your own and that there are sufficient funds to cover the cost of the goods ordered.
If there are any changes to the details supplied by you it is your responsibility to inform MMW as soon as possible.
It is a crime to use a false name or a known invalid credit card to order. Anyone caught wilfully entering an erroneous or fictitious order will be prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law. MMW tracks the electronic 'fingerprints' of every order placed on the ‘Site’ to enable MMW and all legitimate crime prevention and prosecution authorities to trace individual users engaging in criminal activities on the website.
MMW will not pass on your personal or credit or debit card details to any third party.
Your statutory rights are not affected (in particular see below as to your rights to withdraw from the contract).
PRICING
All prices on this site are shown in GBP pounds (£) sterling. Orders shall be accepted at our sole discretion but are normally accepted once credit card authorisation has been confirmed. Product prices exclude postage, which is added at the checkout.
Payment must be received in full before your order can be accepted. Overseas customers please note you will be billed in GBP pounds (£) sterling.
DESCRIPTIONS AND IMAGES
MMW endeavours to ensure all images are a true representation of the finished product, however there might be slight variations due to print, browser, social media and publishing limitations. Please note images are not always actual size. Due to the hand-made nature of these products slight variations to what’s depicted online may occur. As the designer maker MMW reserves the right to alter the designs as it sees fit without notice. This makes the item unique.
In the unlikely event of the goods I deliver not being what you ordered please notify me by telephone or by e-mail of the problem within 7 working days of delivery of the goods in question.
CANCELLING YOUR ORDER
If for any reason you wish to cancel your order you may do so up to 7 days after order receipt. Please notify MMW as soon as possible by email or by telephoning +44 (0)7769904736 during normal office hours quoting your order reference number to find out your orders progress. If your order has been despatched you will not be able to cancel your order.
REPAIRS TO TEXTILES
A lot of love, care and attention goes into making each piece and are made to last if treated with the same care. However, if your item requires repair, MMW offers a lifetime guarantee with your proof of purchase. This guarantee excludes general wear and tear. MMW will not be liable if the receipt has been lost or cannot be produced. For general wear and tear repairs a charge will be applied and quoted prior to carrying out the repair.
These terms do not affect your consumer statutory rights.
RETURNS AND EXCHANGES
If for any reason you wish to return or exchange your item, upon receipt of your goods please contact me immediately with reasons for the requested return or exchange.
- All items need to be returned in perfect condition, unworn, undamaged in its original packaging with all tags and labels attached.
- Include your proof of purchase and ensure the item is posted with adequate insurance. I recommend you use an insured and signed for service.
- MMW is not responsible for any damage or loss through transit for items being returned. Damaged goods due to client negligence will not be accepted for a refund.
- Please note postage charges aren’t refunded on returned/exchanged items.
- Clearly print your name and address on the outside of the package.
- Special Orders are non-refundable. A special order is an item that has been modified to a customers specifications making it different to the standard items sold on the ‘Site’.
- Please complete the contact form to arrange your refund. I endeavour to refund your account within 14 days of receipt of the returned goods.
If you wish to exchange your item, additional postage will be payable for the exchanged item to ensure MMW can send it safely to you. Postage can be paid by credit or debit card. Depending on what you are exchanging your item for please allow up to 4-6 weeks for me to cut and sew your new item for exchange.
